Hunter Industries, the leading manufacturer of gear-driven rotary sprinklers for the landscape irrigation industry, was founded in 1981. The culmination of the lifelong dream of industry pioneer Ed Hunter, the company rapidly grew from a single product manufacturer into a producer of a complete line of irrigation components for residential, commercial, and sports field applications.

With a corporate work force of more that 800, Hunter Industries maintains operations at two sites in the United States --- their headquarters ( which contains a manufacturing plant as well as administrative and marketing personnel) in San Marcos, California and a production-only facility in Cary, North Carolina. Hunter also boasts an international sales team that markets the company's goods in all corners of the globe while operating satellite offices in France and Australia to serve their overseas customers more efficiently.

Hunter prides itself on the company's exceptional in-house research and development team that constantly strives to conceive new products while enhancing the qualities of existing ones. Hunter is also proud of the innovative production methods that makes use of systems entirely the creation of the company (Hunter builds its own molding machines and automated assembly equipment....and even generates its own power!), Hunter also has an on-site multi-million dollar test facility where a continuous regimen of testing simulates the worst field conditions.
